This is a favourite recipe of mine and these bliss balls are so indulgent, they taste too good to be healthy 😉
The inclusion of maca serves as a great energy pick up and these balls are filled with healthy fats and protein from chia and sunflower seeds.
Basic Coconut Protein Bliss Balls – Nut Free
- 175g Medjool Dates
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup cacao powder
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon Maca
- Shredded coconut for rolling.
- Pit and soak dates in boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain and add to food processor.
- Add remaining ingredients too food processor and blend until mixture forms.
- Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut.
- store in fridge 🙂
