Basic Coconut Protein Bliss Balls – Nut Free

This is a favourite recipe of mine and these bliss balls are so indulgent, they taste too good to be healthy 😉

The inclusion of maca serves as a great energy pick up and these balls are filled with healthy fats and protein from chia and sunflower seeds.

Basic Coconut Protein Bliss Balls – Nut Free

Ingredients:

  • 175g Medjool Dates
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Maca
  • Shredded coconut for rolling.

Method:

  1. Pit and soak dates in boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain and add to food processor.
  2. Add remaining ingredients too food processor and blend until mixture forms.
  3. Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut.
  4. store in fridge 🙂
